Pain and Gain is a Michael Bay movie, but in this particular case, that doesn't mean what you think. No, this isn't a massive action blockbuster filled with explosions every five minutes. Pain and Gain is, however, a story of a true crime scheme, and one that will possibly shock you every five minutes or so. Based on a Miami New Times article from 1999, the movie stars Mark Wahlberg, The Rock, Anthony Mackie, and Tony Shalhoub as its prime schemers.
