Mamoswine is one of the most physically offensive Pokémon in Legends: Arceus, and the best nature can enhance its power and speed even further.
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Mamoswine is an incredibly bulky Pokémon that can seem nearly overpowered with the best nature for it. Mamoswine was originally introduced to the series in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, and it has been an absolute powerhouse ever since. As the evolved form of Piloswine, Mamoswine's stats drastically improve upon nearly all of Piloswine's stats. With the best nature for Mamoswine, players can effectively use one of the strongest Pokémon available in Legends: Arceus.
Although Mamoswine's large Attack and HP stats contribute to its offensive prowess, the other source of Mamoswine's capabilities comes from its dual Ice- and Ground-typing. Both Ice- and Ground-type Pokémon are notorious for their high damaging attacks, and Mamoswine capitalizes on the best of both worlds. Additionally, players can also capture an Alpha Mamoswine in the Legends: Arceus Alabaster Icelands location, effectively giving them a Pokémon that visually represents the power it beholds.
Despite how complicated finding a Mamoswine has proven to be in past games, Mamoswine is actually one of the easier Pokémon to get in Legends: Arceus. Since the Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes place in the past, there are a myriad of Swinub and Piloswine across the Alabaster Icelands, many of which, if not all, can already be found knowing the move Ancient Power. Before a Piloswine can evolve into Mamoswine, the Pokémon has to know the move Ancient Power, which it learns on level 34 in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Unlike evolving Piloswine into Mamoswine in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, players do not need to level up Piloswine once it knows Ancient Power. Similar to all Pokémon in Legends: Arceus, players can activate Piloswine's evolution as soon as knows Ancient Power.
What Nature Is Best For Mamoswine In Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Since Mamoswine has such a large Attack stat normally, the best nature for Mamoswine in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the Jolly nature. The easiest way to assure that Mamoswine has this nature is to simply catch as many Swinub and Piloswine as it takes in the Alabaster Icelands. The Jolly nature will allow Mamoswine to have its Speed stat increased while its Special Attack stat decreases. With a boost to its Speed stat, Mamoswine can also take advantage of the Agile Style combat in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, giving it the opportunity to attack multiple times before an opponent has a chance to retaliate.
With a Jolly nature, the best moveset that Mamoswine can learn in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is Ice Shard, Icicle Crash, High Horsepower, and Iron Head. Ice Shard already raises Mamoswine's action speed, which can help increase their chances of attacking multiple times when it's used in Agile Style. Afterward, their Mamoswine can follow up with whatever attack is appropriate, thereby utilizing the Pokémon's quick and powerful back-to-back offensive stats in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
