Players have access to six different playable heroes in Marvel's Avengers. This guide shows players how to switch between these characters.
Jumping into Marvel's Avengers is an incredibly fun experience. Players can take part in dozens of different missions around the globe as their favorite Avenger as they try to bring down the evil company AIM. Iron Man allows players to fly around the map firing off repulsor beams at anyone who gets in their way, while The Hulk puts players in the stretchy pants of the massively angry green giant as they smash all the robots in their vicinity. Each of the heroes brings something new and exciting to the table for all players.
The best aspect of the game though is the fact that players can switch between any of these heroes whenever they wish, as long as they know how to do it. Since each hero has a different set of abilities, players will probably want to play as a different one depending on what their current situation demands of them. This guide shows players how to switch between each of the Avengers.
Marvel's Avengers: How to Switch Characters
There are actually a couple of different ways to switch characters that players will want to know about depending on what they are trying to do. The one that players will probably use most often is the character selection screen before each mission. Players will just need to go to the War Table on either The Chimaera or at the Ant Hill hideout. From here there will be a tab at the bottom left of the screen that says "Select Hero/Companions". Players just need to hit that button and then select which hero they want to play as. They can also pick three other heroes to join them on a mission if they aren't able to find anyone online to play with.
There is also a third option for choosing a new character that the game doesn't actually spell out for the player. While on the The Chimaera players will need to walk to the area where the heroes' living quarters are. If they go downstairs from here they will discover another table that looks similar to the War Table on the bridge. If players interact with this table they will be able to switch their character or modify the gear of any of the other available characters. This is perfect if players want to explore the hub area as a different character and purchase new items for them.
